Today's story seems a little delayed as it dates back to some days ago.
However, I think it'll not only be interesting to talk about it but also important
too.
So to start the month of June, United Nations Information Center
(UNIC), Lagos partnered with DoTheDream Youth Foundation Initiative and Life
Initiative (NGOs) to work on a 3 day program, starting from 3-5 June.
First in the order of event was the Road
Walk, which UNIC Lagos didn't engage in. The second was a youth centered program
with the theme: SayNoToBadLyrics and
the third was titled Be the change, be responsible.

The event also had the CEO of Wecylclers. If you watch the news regularly, you’ll remember a
pretty young Nigerian lady who got featured on CNN on a show called African Start Up and Ndani TV's Young CEO. Remember? Yes!
Bilikiss Adebiyi-Abiola. It’s funny how she just recently started gaining
a lot of accreditation. What’s my own, she’s sha really popular now and
she came for the program.

Other speakers were present o, but these are the ones that got my
attention the most despite that I was all over the place with my camera. I was
predominantly a photographer for the event and was really proud of myself. It’s
not easy to be running up and down, capturing every single detail with heels
on, only a super woman can do that. #boss#
Other than the fact that it was
graced by eminent personalities, the crux of the program SayNoToBadLyrics was very well treated in depth without leaving any
side untouched. FD just hit the nail on the head Kpam!
And from the turnout of things, I could tell the participants were
grateful. They were all so inquisitive to learn more and so at the end of the
program FD distributed a copy of his latest publication ’17 Secrets to a High Flying Student” free of charge to all the
students with each book autographed by him. He had our time plenty… I also got
a copy and did not fail to flaunt it to my BBM friends as a sharpgyal. The climax was when I took
pictures with him.

For your information, these are my kind of events. I love to be around
such positive energy. It does so much
good to my life. Abi who nor want better
thing? Maybe I’m talking too much, let me leave the pictures to tell the
rest of the story.
